It comes in a very convienent to travel pencil with a very secure metal lid (at least secure in the sense of pencil lids- they're never extremely secure but you get my point). I like the chubby pencil end- though unfortunately you do have to sharpen it which always really bugs me. They have the technology to create twist up pencils, why won't they use it!?

What I really truly love about this pencil though is all formula. It's super soft and applies without patchiness- unlike my similar Mac Shadestick (in Nurture) or my GOSH shadow pencils (in Gold and Ivory). You don't need to blend this on your lid to make it look nice again as I must with my Mac Shadestick and Gosh shadow pencils. On top of this it dries down completely- no slight tackiness as with the other two products. Plus it lasts and lasts- no creasing (even without a primer!) and only very slight fading. It lasts through water but comes off extremely easily with soap and water or make-up remover.

Overall- I'm in love. I want more of the shades and I think these are perfect for summer- especially the shade Lit a super lovely bronzy colour that I debated getting instead of Sin. Unfortunately, they are kind of expensive at $20 USD or $24 CND for 0.1 oz but the quality is really there.
Sprite Rating: 9/10 Lost point for the fact they must be sharpened (such a waste of product!)
Would I buy it again? Yes! I want so many more of these.

I feel very 'gotta catch 'em all' about the UD shadow pencils. I need this one :)
ReplyDeleteLol I completely agree! I want them all! The formula is just awesome. :D

ReplyDeleteLooks so pretty, I love the colour!
ReplyDeleteI really like them too.The colour is amazing!
ReplyDeleteBut the problem is that I cant sharpen it, so i would like to ask you what kind of sharpener do you use?
yeah, i know it's a stupid question, but i hope you will help me :P
Hey! Thanks for taking the time to comment! Personally I use a really old sharpener that I've had forever (and recieved as part of a kit when I was about 10) but I've heard good things about the Urban Decay Grindhouse sharpener. I've also heard that there is a dupe of the UD sharpener that's really cheap but basically the same. I think Nouveau Cheap mentioned it once and compared them. I recommend trying to find that Dupe. Best of Luck!
